Athanatos is a light roleplaying guild with /guild channels generally out of character. On the other hand, /say and /yell are, of course, used in-character. The guild does have a roleplaying channel for those that are interested in maintaining RP chatter within the guild.
Athanatos does not create storylines outside of those already written into World of Warcraft by Blizzard. Character backgrounds are, of course, encouraged so long as they do not contradict pre-existing game lore or biology. Although the guild name and tabard have an Ancient Greek root, it is not expected that guild members adopt that influence in their roleplaying style or characterisation.
